Soucouyant

Title: The Soucouyant

Logline: A young woman must use her newfound knowledge of Trinidadian folklore to stop a Soucouyant, a vampire-like creature that preys on the living.

Synopsis:

In the modern-day city of Port of Spain, Trinidad, a young woman named Maya is struggling to adjust to her new life. She has just moved to the island from the United States, and she is still trying to make friends. One night, Maya is walking home from work when she is attacked by a mysterious creature. The creature is a Soucouyant, a vampire-like creature that preys on the living.

Maya is able to escape from the Soucouyant, but she is determined to find a way to stop it. She learns about Trinidadian folklore and the lore of the Soucouyant. She also learns that the Soucouyant is after her because she is a descendant of a powerful witch.

Maya teams up with a group of friends to stop the Soucouyant. They use their knowledge of Trinidadian folklore and their own special abilities to fight the creature. In the end, they are able to defeat the Soucouyant and save the city.

The film would be a mix of action, horror, and comedy. It would be set in the modern-day city of Port of Spain, Trinidad. The film would feature a diverse cast of characters, including Maya, her friends, and the Soucouyant.
