Arima & Healthcare
Living in Arima and raising a family has opened my eyes to the widening gap in local healthcare access. Over the years, I’ve seen a gradual decline in the quality of services available in our suburban areas, where families are increasingly forced to travel long distances to urban centers just for routine check-ups and treatment.
This not only disrupts daily life but also delays timely intervention in emergencies, putting our loved ones at greater risk. I firmly believe that the government should invest in modern regional health clinics equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, robust telemedicine capabilities, and staffed by highly trained healthcare professionals.
Such an initiative would provide accessible, high-quality care right in our community, easing the burden on urban hospitals and ensuring that every family in Arima can receive prompt and reliable medical attention.
